I am a molecular anthropologist, specialized in taste and nutrition

I was made in Italy but my itchy feet led me to Ireland, the United States, Germany and the UK, working in some of the best universities, research centers, and food companies  

I have 10+ years of experience spanning research, new product development & (re)formulation, nutrition & health claims, approval of new foods, science writing, and public speaking

With a BSc, a MSc, a PhD, 40+ publications, 1 book chapter, and 1 patent, I have built up a transversal knowledge in molecular anthropology, clinical nutrition, food sciences, and taste perception

I also love to tell stories

Avid reader since I can remember, my passion for writing has taken many shapes: short fiction stories, a novel, a popular science book, and songs which I do my best to sing. I write in both English and Italian

I approach life

The way I climb mountains: it’s a matter of hard work, patience, respect, passion and teamwork, knowing that it’s not the summit I conquer, but myself

 

When I don't travel around the globe, I spend most of my time in Turin, Italy, and I am often in London, UK
